The legal basis for data protection can be found in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Telemedia Act (TMG).

We appreciate your visit to our website, and your interest in our offers. The protection of your personal data is of utmost importance to us. In this Privacy Notice, we explain how we collect your personal data, what we do with it, for what purposes, and on what legal bases, and what rights and claims are associated with it for you.

Access data/ server log files

The provider (or its webspace provider) collects data about every access to the offer (so-called server log files). Access data includes:


Name of the retrieved website, file, date and time of retrieval, amount of data transferred, notification of successful retrieval, browser type and version, the user’s operating system, referrer URL (the previously visited page), IP address and the requesting provider.


The provider uses the log data only for statistical evaluations for the purpose of operation, security and optimization of the offer. However, the provider reserves the right to check the log data retrospectively if there is a legitimate suspicion of illegal use on the basis of concrete indications.

Collection and processing of personal data

We take the protection of your private data seriously and want you to feel comfortable and secure in your business relationship with us. The protection of your privacy when processing personal data is an important concern for us, which we take into account in our business processes. We process personal data in accordance with the data protection regulations of the country in which the data controller is located. We use the data you provide during the registration process to carry out the contract concluded with you or to start the contract. The amount of personal data used amounts to contact details, shipping details or bank details for payment processing. The legality of data processing is apparent from Article 6(3) of the European Data Protection.3 1 b) GDPR. The provision of the data requested during the registration process is necessary for the conclusion of a contract. Although there is no obligation to provide data, you cannot purchase our products in this case.


Possible categories of recipients for the collected data are:

  • Payment processing service providers such as credit card companies or online payment services for the execution of payment processing. These are located in Germany.
  • Freight forwarding service provider for shipping processing. These are located in Germany and in other European countries.
  • IT service provider for the support of our order and logistics processing systems. These are based in Germany.
  • Public authorities when requesting this data on the basis of legal requests for information.
  • Data reference agencies based in Germany for carrying out credit checks as part of the granting of credit limits and payment terms that you have requested. The legality is apparent from Article 6(3). 1 f) GDPR. The legitimate interest arises from the fact that we make advance payments in the event of the granting of credit limits and payment targets within the framework of the contractual relationship. Due to this economic risk, we have a legitimate interest in making financial advance payments only for economically efficient customers.
  • In the event of non-payment of the purchase price due, we reserve the right to commission a debt collection company based in Germany for the purpose of collecting the claim. The legality of the transfer of data is apparent from Article 6(3). 1 f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is that a debt collection company can provide more effective and economically more effective enforcement of claims. The data required for the execution of the contract, such as name, address or telephone number, will be retained for a further two years after the termination of the contractual relationship. This serves to meet possible warranty or recourse claims. Documents associated with the contract, such as invoices, reminders, etc., are stored in accordance with the statutory retention periods of currently 10 years. The period begins at the end of the year in which the invoice was drawn up.


Personal data collected as part of the bidding process without subsequently being contracted will be deleted after six months. In addition, if you have given us your consent, we use your data for direct marketing measures for product and service offerings by email, post or telephone. You can approve and withdraw this consent for each communication channel individually. The legality of data processing is apparent from Article 6(3) of the European Data Protection.3 1 a) GDPR.


You have the following rights in connection with the processing of your personal data:

  • In accordance with Article 15 GDPR, you have the right to information about the data stored by us.
  • In accordance with Article 16 GDPR, you have the right to have inaccurate data corrected.
  • Pursuant to Article 17 GDPR, you have the right to have your data deleted, unless there is a legal reason for further storage.
  • Pursuant to Article 18 GDPR, you have the right to request a restriction on the processing of your data. This means that your data may still be stored, but may only be processed under limited conditions (e.g. with your consent or for the assertion of legal claims).

Purposes of use

We use the personal data collected during a visit to our websites in order to operate it as comfortably as possible for you and to protect our IT systems from attacks and other illegal acts.


Insofar as you provide us with further personal data, e.g. in the context of a registration, a contact form, a survey or for the execution of a contract, we use this data for the aforementioned purposes, for the purposes of customer management and, if necessary, for the purposes of processing and settlement of any transactions, each to the extent necessary for this purpose.

Integration of third-party services and content

It may happen that third-party content, such as videos from YouTube, map material from Google Maps, RSS feeds or graphics from other websites are integrated within this online offer. This always presupposes that the providers of this content (hereinafter referred to as “third-party providers”) perceive the IP address of the users. Because without the IP address, they could not send the content to the browser of the respective user. The IP address is therefore required for the presentation of this content. We make every effort to use only those contents whose respective providers use the IP address only for the delivery of the content. However, we have no influence if the third-party providers store the IP address for statistical purposes, for example. As far as we know, we inform the users about this.

Evaluation of user data, Google Analytics

This offer uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called.” Cookies”, text files that are stored on users’ computers and which enable an analysis of their use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about the use of this website by the users is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.


However, in case of activation of IP anonymization on this website, the IP address of the users will be truncated by Google within Member States of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Right to information, deletion, blocking

We will delete your IP address and the name of your Internet service provider, which we only store for security reasons, after seven days. In addition, we will delete your personal data as soon as the purpose for which we collected and processed the data is no longer applicable. In addition to this date, storage shall only take place if this is necessary in accordance with the laws, regulations or other legislation of the European Union or of a Member State of the European Union to which we are subject. Legal bases of processing

Insofar as you have given us consent for the processing of your personal data, this provided the legal basis for the processing (Art.6 sec. 1 letter a GDPR)


For the processing of personal data for the purposes of initiating or fulfilling a contract with you, Art. 1 book b GDPR is the legal basis.


Insofar as the processing of your personal data is necessary for the fulfilment of our legal obligations (e.g. for the retention of data), we are required to do so in accordance with Art. 1 book c GDPR.


In addition, we process personal data for the purposes of defending our legitimate interests as well as legitimate interests of third parties in accordance with Article 6 sec. 1 book f GDPR. Maintaining the functionality of our IT systems, but also the marketing of our own and third-party products and services and the legally required documentation of business contacts are such legitimate interests.

Rights of the data

As a data controller, you have the right to information (Art. 15 GDPR), correction (Art. 16 GDPR), data erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR) and data portability (Art. 20 GDPR).


If you have consented to the processing of your personal data by us, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. The legality of the processing of your personal data until a revocation is not affected by the revocation. Further processing of this data on the basis of a different legal basis, such as the fulfilment of legal obligations (see section “Legal basis of processing”) remains equally unaffected.


Right to object:
